I start this blog as a 47yo Caucasion male. I live along the “3rdCoast”. Not the “Eastcoast”, or the “Westcoast”, but the “Thirdcoast”. The Gulf coast or more specifically, coastal Texas. I was born on the coast, grew up in the city, raised in the country, but living in the humid mists of the lowcountry along the coastal bend of Texas. The picture in the header of this blog is from my backyard. Yeah, I got it easy.
I’m not a writer, but a storyteller. Maybe one day when my blog becomes famous and I’m getting thousands of hits a day, I’ll think about it…(smiling). I have worked for the past 15+ years as a psychiatric nurse. It afforded me a good living and has developed my sense of humor over the years. It I couldn’t laugh about things I’ve seen, I would probably be working in a convenience store stealing free Slurpees.
